OPEN MIC POETRY at CHICHESTER
Want to share the poems you’ve written? Or just enjoy listening to new work? Open Mic Poetry is at the heart of the South Downs Poetry Festival. For over 15 years we’ve been running Open Mic Poetry at the New Park Centre, Chichester, PO19 7XY. We welcome members and guests, new or regulars, with a supportive atmosphere. 7.30pm to 9pm.

Each month we begin with a short reading from a guest published poet, followed by the open mic. Thee’s always time for one poem each and often for two or three, on any subject, in any style. The bar/refreshments café is usually open after the event. Car parking on site or in adjacent car park. No tickets, just pay £5 entrance on the door of the Jubilee Hall and sign the list if you want to read.
Open Mic Poetry runs on the last Wednesday of January, February, March, April May and then we break until September, October and November.
